The Classified Professional Growth Program, through the Coast Federation of Classified Professionals, provides classified employees with opportunities for individual professional growth.Classified Professional Development options include:
- Tuition, Books and Fees Reimbursement when attending college, university and other scholastic institutions.
- Salary Differential permanently added to the employee's salary upon successful completion of an approved academic or professional program.
- Released Time to travel and attend one (1) college, university and other approved course, including reimbursement for a substitute for the employee if needed. Approval of the employee's supervisor is required.
- Vocational/Technical Education cost reimbursement, including tuition, fees and books.
- Professional Conferences/Workshops and similar events with a reimbursement of up to $1000 per fiscal year. Approval of the employee's supervisor is required.
