  • Financial Assistance: Explore grants and resources to help manage expenses like childcare and housing. Application is available during Fall and Spring semester.

  • Fast response: Schedule an intake appointment. We'll get back to you within 2 business days.
  • Personalized assistance: Our intake specialist will meet with you to understand your situation and recommend resources to help.
  • Campus and community support: We'll connect you with resources on campus and in the community to get the help you need.
  • Basic Needs Center access: Get access to essential items and support services at the Basic Needs Center.
  • Groceries from The Stand: Receive groceries from The Stand food pantry to help you stay nourished.
  • Need Clothing? We Can Help! If you're facing a temporary clothing need, we offer emergency clothing to Golden West College students. To schedule an appointment, please fill out the Basic Needs intake form.
  • Need diapers, wipes, or baby supplies? If you need help with diapers, wipes, or a breastmilk cooler bag, please fill out the Basic Needs intake form.

Basic Needs Grants Are Now Available! Students have an opportunity to apply to one grant either for Housing (up to $1,000), Childcare (up to $1,000), or Basic Living Expenses (up to $500). To know more about the criteria, click on the application form down below.
