Campus Life provides volunteer opportunities to promote civic engagement for all students and staff. Throughout the year, we will sponsor group activities as well as continue to update the list of local volunteer organizations here on this website for you to reach out to on your own.

Volunteers will assist in native plant gardening, restoring habitat for animals, and helping with the nursery. |
| Huntington Beach Wetlands: Restoring the Native Botany at the Magnolia Wetlands | Click Me! | The Huntington Beach Wetlands Conservancy is a California non-profit organization that aims to restore and protect the wetlands of Huntington Beach. Volunteers can assist by working with the State Parks to monitor the endangered animals, staffing the Education Center, reviving the Native Plant Nursery, and Coastal Cleanups. |

Volunteer alongside others dedicated to protecting the environment through coastal cleanups along various beaches including Huntington Beach and Seal Beach. |
| Shipley's Nature Center | Click Me! | The Friends of Shipley Nature Center manages a nature center in Huntington Beach that serves as an educational space for everyone to learn about native plants, wildlife, and the environment. The organization is committed to maintaining the diverse ecological habitat and restoring the wildlife. Volunteers can help by surveying birds, composting, staffing the front desk, maintain the nursery and butterfly gardens, all while getting in touch with nature at the same time. |

| Habitat for Humanity OC | Click Me! | Want to help build community and provide shelter? That is exactly Habitat for Humanity's mission for everyone. This non-profit housing organization works with communities locally and worldwide. Volunteers opportunities include maintaining the ReStores, building, painting and helping with home improvement projects. |
| Grandma's House of Hope | Click Me! | As a multi-program non-profit organization, Grandmas House of Hope started in 2004 in Garden Grove to serve the underserved populations of Orange County including women, children, and families through three key programs: Transitional Housing, Nanas Kidz and HopeWorks!. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities including hosting a food drive, packaging food, and becoming a tutor. |

The organization partners up with local charities and other organizations to help feed the hungry. Volunteers help make an impact by packaging food boxes in the 58,000 warehouse located in Garden Grove. |

Volunteers are essential to the success of the services offered at Huntington Beach Senior Center in Central Park. There are a number of classes that are offered to seniors that need the help of volunteers to work one-on-one with them to ensure that they are understanding the information that is being presented to them. As a volunteer, you can also participate in office assistance, meal services, or just listening and interacting with the residents. You must be 18 years or older to volunteer at this location.
