Joining a Club is a great way to enrich your academic experience and meet people with similar interests. GWC has clubs of all types that focus on a variety of topics and interests. To join a Club, attend a meeting, contact the club advisor, join through a current member, or attend Club Expo during the fall or spring semester. Club meeting times and contact information can be found on the GWC App, and are also listed online.

Each semester, we offer Club Expo as an in-person event on the GWC Campus and as an online event hosted in Zoom. For our in-person events, clubs host a physical booth. Students can stop by each booth to learn more about the club - you're welcome to visit every club booth at the event, or just swing by clubs that you know you'd like to join. (But remember - you may find there's a group that you didn't even *know* you wanted to join, so we always encourage students to explore as many clubs as possible!)
For our Online Club Expo, clubs will be available in a "virtual" booth via Zoom. As is the case for our in-person Club Expo, you can hop around to every virtual booth, or explore just a few.

Want to start a new club or organization? The process is easy! All you need to do is recruit five (5) interested students, obtain an advisor, and file a New Club Application. For questions about starting a new club, contact a member of our team:
During the first few weeks of the semester, Campus Life hosts New Club Info sessions for students who are interested in starting a new club. These one-hour sessions cover all of the information you need to know about starting a student club or organization on campus, including the application and paperwork process, Club Officer requirements and what is required to remain an Active Club each semester, and how to recruit and find new club members at our Club Expo events. Sessions are offered both in-person on the GWC campus and online.
Dennis is also holding office hours for students with questions about clubs - no appointment necessary. Whether you are a current club member or leader, a student looking to get involved with GWC Club life, or a Club Advisor that needs assistance, feel free to stop by on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM in the Campus Life office (Student Services Center, 1st Floor) or on Thursdays from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM. A virtual office hour will be offered on Fridays from 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM (Zoom Link)
