Technical Requirements

You must have:

  • Computer - that runs at least Windows 10, Mac OS X or ChromeOS.
    • Golden West College offers a Chromebook Loan Program to all currently registered students. Visit the GWC Chromebook Loan Program page to fill out a Chromebook Request Form.
  • Internet Connection - reliable and high-speed.
  • Speakers or Headphones and Microphone - for any video/audio elements of the course.
  • Web Browser - Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome provide the best experience.

Be familiar with:

  • Web Browsers - We recommend Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
  • Word Processors - Using a word processor such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Wordpad, Pages, or TextEdit.
