CARE Student Participation Opportunities | Student Commitments to CARE
The CARE program is a state-funded program designed to assist single parents who are receiving CalWORKs/TANF and are EOPS eligible. CARE students are given guidance and support to achieve their educational and personal goals. The CARE staff understands how a single parent supporting a family may feel overwhelmed trying to balance the responsibilities of education and home. We are here to help qualified students balance those responsibilities by offering additional financial assistance and support services.
Before joining the CARE program, students must first be eligible and accepted into the EOPS program.

Our commitment is to provide CARE students with the needed support to succeed at Golden West College. To help the student succeed, we provide financial assistance and support services.
