If you want to take art classes in addition to what you’ve taken at GWC, there are plenty of opportunities nearby. These locations offer a range of classes and/or the use of open studio maker spaces.
Makerspaces offer various tools, equipment, and sometimes classes and trainings to help you make whatever project you have in mind. Do you need a 3D printer or laser cutter? Many makerspaces have them. Do you want to learn to weld? Some makerspaces have facilities for that as well! Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of them in Orange County or Long Beach, but if you’re willing to drive to LA, you’ll find some more.
