The Transfer Academy is a program designed to support all students, especially students from historically underrepresented groups as they transfer to four-year institutions. We are committed to providing Transfer Academy students with an enhanced support system that will maximize their pre-transfer educational experience at Golden West College.

RECOMMENDED PARTICIPANTS:
- Any GWC student interested in transferring
- First-year students (highly recommended)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have an educational goal of transfer
- Be currently enrolled at GWC as your home campus
- Actively participate in Transfer Academy events and activities
- Agree to the following:
- Complete Transfer Academy Orientation
- Meet with a Transfer Counselor for a comprehensive educational plan once a year
- Participate in at least one transfer workshop or event each semester
- Create CSU Transfer Planner and UC Transfer Admission Planner accounts
- Take COUN G205, Navigating the Transfer Process, a one unit online class, if, after meeting with a counselor, the course aligns with your educational goals
